Other Events.

On November 08, 2007, Union Bankshares Corporation announced that its Prosperity Bank & Trust Company affiliate will be merged into its largest bank affiliate, Union Bank and Trust Company. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
